Do you believe tonight is Christmas eve? Hope all of you have been able to do all the the holiday things you wanted to. Have you thought about what you might wear? That’s ok if you haven’t! This green velvet top can be worn to a number of different gatherings. Switch the pixie pant out for a sequin skirt and there you have the perfect New Years Eve look. We spend Christmas eve at my fathers house, over eating, watching the fire, and tracking Santa!
When I saw this green velvet top from Nordstrom I knew this was the perfect one for the occasion. I am loving anything velvet this season. In Boston it is pretty cold this time of year. Wearing a cute ankle pant was a better option for chasing around my over active child, and over indulging in everything that catches my eye. Everyone needs that coat that you reach for when your dressed up for an occasion. This leopard Zaful coat is a great choice. This is a great affordable coat that adds a glamorous touch to the leopard print. I Don’t think I will ever stop wearing leopard. When styled right it almost plays as a neutral. If you are looking for fashionable pieces without spending a lot, Zaful is a great place to look!
Our family dresses up tonight, and tomorrow we hang in our pjs and play with gifts most of the day. Every Christmas eve my son gets to open his Christmas eve box. These Christmas boxes always have a pair of new Christmas pj’s and one other holiday related item; I am such a sucker for tradition. What are some traditions that you do with your child, or your parents did with you? I carry on some that my parents did with me, while also trying to recreate some of our own. Christmas day I bake all sorts of treats to lay out as we open our gifts. Coffee for the adults and hot chocolate bar for the kids.
Saturday is usually not a day I post. However, I really wanted to get this holiday green velvet top outfit up to give you some inspiration for your holiday gatherings. With all the shopping and baking it’s easy to forget to plan our holiday looks ahead of time. These next few days will be more family time and less social media. My son is growing up so fast, and I want to hold on to these years when the miracle of Christmas is so strong. I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed holiday with their families and loved ones. Hope Santa brings you everything you asked for. Remember, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
